Let me start off this section by saying WE NEVER HAD A PLAN TO BUY A WEDDING VENUE! In the spring of 2021, we decided to look for a house in the county. In the process, my husband Ben and I stumbled across this enchanting mill. We decided to take a leap of faith and follow our hearts with the business instead of a house. Never in a million years did we think we would get the mill but were praying that we could be part of its history. We were excited for the opportunity to serve couples and help them celebrate the start of their forever together. You know how people say “God has a plan?” Well he showed us a new course to our life that we didn’t know we wanted until stepping foot inside the Mill..

My goal is to make the process of finding and working with a venue as simple and stress free as possible. I have been blessed with a team that has a passion of serving people during their special day and shares similar goals. I remember how complicated it could be to figure out the pricing of some venues when I was planning my own wedding. I wanted something simpler for our couples, so I am very transparent with our pricing and have no hidden fees. We also provide a place for smaller events such as holiday and birthday parties, family reunions, celebration of life events, corporate events, etc. There is an enchanting magic in this mill and it is truly the hidden gem of Chilton County and Central Alabama.

One of the highlights of owning the Mill is meeting all the people in the community and the kind, loving couples we have the pleasure of working with. They all become part of our Yellowleaf Creek Mill family and we genuinely care about each and every person we work with. Our couples will forever be part of the history of the Mill.

We are a family run business with our young daughter who LOVES to see all the girls in white dresses. God called Ben home in October 2021, but he is with us everyday and watches over all we do. I know he has loved to see the Mill come to life and continue to serve others. Our family is rounded out by our English Mastiff Magnhus, Yellow Lab Sebastian, and Yellow Tabby Cat Strawberry-Biscuit.
